On Thursday, security forces arrested four individuals affiliated with separatist groups in Manipur. Khoisnam Morendrajit Singh, a 42-year-old cadre of UPPK, was apprehended in the Malom Tulihal Makha Leikai area of Bishnupur district, with a mobile phone and an Aadhaar card confiscated from him. Similarly, Ningthoujam Kennedy, a 41-year-old extortionist linked to PREPAK(Pro), was arrested in Khewa Bazar, Imphal East district, with similar items seized. Additionally, Thounaojam Prempatra Singh, 31, and Tharoijam Tony Singh, 32, both associated with RPF/PLA, were arrested from Singjamei Chinga Makha and Porompat areas, respectively. Authorities recovered a 9 mm pistol with live ammunition, a Honda Activa scooter, mobile phones, a sling bag, and wallets from the latter two suspects.
