Four Pairs of Holi Special Trains to Be Operated by Northeast Frontier Railway

Northeast Frontier Railway announces the operation of four pairs of Holi Special Trains to accommodate the increased travel demand during the festive period. The service includes the following routes and schedules: Narangi-Gorakhpur (Special Train Number 05633): This train will operate every Thursday from February 19 to March 26, 2026. It departs Narangi at 1:20 PM and arrives in Gorakhpur at 1:00 PM the following day. The return service, Gorakhpur-Narangi (Special Train Number 05634), will run every Friday during the same period, departing Gorakhpur at 4:55 PM and reaching Narangi at 9:40 PM the next day. Each of these trains will run a total of six trips. Katihar-Amritsar (Special Train Number 05736): This train will run every Wednesday from February 18 to March 25, 2026, leaving Katihar at 9:00 PM and arriving in Amritsar at 9:45 AM on Friday. The return trip, Amritsar-Katihar (Special Train Number 05735), will depart every Friday, starting February 20 until March 27, leaving Amritsar at 1:25 PM and reaching Katihar at 11:45 PM the next day. Both trains will also make six trips each. Dibrugarh-Jhanjharpur (Special Train Number 05974): Scheduled for every Tuesday from February 17 to March 31, 2026, this train departs Dibrugarh at 5:20 AM and arrives in Jhanjharpur at 11:30 AM the next day. The return journey, Jhanjharpur-Dibrugarh (Special Train Number 05973), will operate every Wednesday from February 18 to April 1, 2026, leaving Jhanjharpur at 1:00 PM and arriving at Dibrugarh at 8:20 PM the next day. These trains will run for a total of seven trips each.Dibrugarh-Kolkata (Special Train Number 05932): This train will run every Saturday from February 21 to March 7, 2026, departing Dibrugarh at 5:00 PM and arriving in Kolkata at 12:30 AM on Monday. The return service, Kolkata-Dibrugarh (Special Train Number 05931), will depart every Monday from February 23 to March 9, 2026, leaving Kolkata at 2:30 AM and arriving in Dibrugarh at 6:30 AM the next day. Each train will make three trips.
