Flipkart head of new business Adarsh Menon quits

Adarsh ​​Menon who is the new business head and senior vice president of Flipkart has reportedly submitted his papers for his own new venture. After his exit, Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy plans to restructure the team, reports said. On the development front, Pranab Tiwari has also reportedly been appointed as SVP.

Menon joined Flipkart from HUL in 2015. He took up his new role 10 months ago, leading new businesses such as Flipkart’s ShopSee, RickCommerce and Cleartrip. Previously, he was SVP and head of Wholesale and Walmart India.

Menon was made head of the business in July 2022 when senior executive Prakash Sikaria was planning his exit, though he ultimately decided to stay with Flipkart.
