The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur, has released the final Photo Electoral Rolls for the 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency, with January 1, 2026, designated as the qualifying date. This publication was performed by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) in accordance with the Election Commission of India’s schedule. The public, electors, and political party representatives may inspect the rolls at various local electoral offices or on the CEO, Manipur’s official website. A meeting, led by Shailesh Kumar Chourasia, was conducted to inform representatives of political parties about the revision activities, during which copies of the final rolls were distributed.
The final electoral roll shows a total of 49,871 electors, an increase from 48,896 in the draft published on February 9, 2026. This includes 25,036 male and 24,835 female electors, with no entries under the third gender category. The constituency is served by 82 polling stations. In total, 1,172 new electors were added during the revision period, while 197 names were removed. Additionally, there are 496 service electors in the final list.
Officials stated that appeals against decisions made by the ERO can be filed with the District Magistrate of Senapati under Section 24(a) of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, with a provision for a second appeal to the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur, in accord with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.
