ELECRAMA 2025 sparks growth in India’s electrical market

ELECRAMA 2025, the world’s largest electrical exhibition, has commenced at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, highlighting India’s accelerating role in the global energy transition. Organized by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), the event showcases advancements in renewable energy, electric mobility, and smart grid technology.

Union Minister of Power and Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, inaugurated the event, reinforcing the government’s focus on expanding India’s energy infrastructure. “India aims for 800 GW of power generation by 2030, with 50% from renewables. Strengthening EV charging networks and digital grid solutions is pivotal for our clean energy future,” Khattar stated.

Industry stalwarts such as Oliver Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, and Matthias Rebellius, CEO of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, echoed India’s potential in electrification. Sunil Singhvi, President of IEEMA, highlighted India’s commitment to clean energy solutions, while Vikram Gandotra, Chairman of ELECRAMA 2025, emphasized the event’s scale—featuring over 1,100 exhibitors and attracting $20 billion in business inquiries. The Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) is poised to boost global partnerships with over 500 international buyers engaging with Indian manufacturers. ELECRAMA 2025 also features the World Utility Summit, CEO Summit, and Innovation Awards, fostering discussions on digital transformation, energy efficiency, and skill development. As India positions itself as a global energy leader, the event serves as a catalyst for business collaborations and technological advancements in the electrical sector.
