ED claimed that Kuntal Ghosh had withdrawn 100 crores

Explosive claim of Kuntal Ghosh arrested in recruitment corruption case by ED. In the charge sheet of the case, the ED claimed that Kuntal Ghosh had withdrawn 100 crores alone. Kuntal, one of the accused in recruitment corruption, had a different start to his life. Kuntal started his career as an airline ground crew. Ever opened an institute. Ever opened an import-export company. Ever brokered land. But his meteoric rise came only after his appointment was embroiled in corruption. During this time, his income increased suddenly, that is what ED claims.
The information about where he reached from has come out in the charge sheet of ED. It is claimed that Kuntal Ghosh stated that he used to work as a ground crew of an airline. He did that work for 3 months. After a few days, he opened an import-export company again. That company used to export wheat to Bangladesh. Kuntal opened an institute named Indrani Devi by spending 32 lakh rupees. As his secretary, Kuntal’s salary was 40,000 taka per month. In addition to these, he also worked as a land broker for some time.
The investigation revealed that the secretary of the Indrani Devi Institute was Kuntal, the mother was the treasurer, the wife was the president. Monthly income is 40 thousand. Detectives believe that behind what is shown from the front, there is a bigger amount hidden. According to ED sources, Kuntal got involved in the cycle of recruitment corruption. Along with that, the amount of money started increasing in his bank account. Kuntal Ghosh’s name came up in the mouth of Manik Bhattacharya’s close Tapas Mandal. It is claimed in the ED charge sheet that Tapas Mondal contacted Kuntal for the recruitment of some people.
After 15 days, Kuntal said that 1 lakh rupees per candidate will be required to pass the TET and 5 lakh rupees for giving the appointment letter. Tapas Mandal told him that he has a list of 325 people. Similarly, Tapas Mandal gave 3 crore 25 lakhs. Kuntal said, out of 325 people, 10 will be selected. In January 2021, an employee of Tapas Mandal again gave 1 crore 41 lakhs to Kuntal. After that all 325 candidates passed by Tapas Mandal. Between September 2018 and February 2022, 10 more quotas for recruitment
