Earthquake jolts Northeast

An earthquake of 5.7 magnitude struck parts of the Northeast and adjoining areas on Friday morning.
An official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the epicentre of the quake was in Bangladesh.He said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km at 10:08 am.However, there has not been any report of damage to life or property so far.
