S. Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs, came on Thursday for a three-day visit to the capital of Mozambique. During that time, he will meet with influential figures to improve ties between India and the African nation. The visit by Jaishankar, who will be in Mozambique from April 13 to 15, is the first time an Indian minister of external affairs has ever been there, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. Jaishankar travelled from Uganda to Maputo where he met with Yoweri Museveni and other top officials to examine potential collaboration in the fields of trade, infrastructure, energy, and defence.
