Global consumer health leader Reckitt solidifies its commitment to public health through the strategic collaboration of Durex The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT) with Sikkim State AIDS Control Society (SSACS), marking a significant milestone on World AIDS Day 2023.Aligned with the World Health Organization’s theme, ‘Let Communities Lead,’ the partnership aims to raise HIV/AIDS awareness, specifically targeting students and teachers. The SOFIYUM Music Festival, featuring local talents and hip hop artist Sudarshan Rai, served as a platform to convey key messages from the Durex TBBT curriculum—centered on consent, equity, inclusion, awareness, and protection.
Mayor Shri Nell Bahadur Chettri lauded TBBT as a “positive and fruitful program for the youths,” recognizing the strategic importance of health education in the community. The Pride Walk Fashion Show, featuring popular artists, exemplified the collaboration’s cultural resonance and commitment to social responsibility.
