While Diljit Dosanjh is busy making India proud abroad, the singer recently shared in a chat how he always wanted to be famous growing up. He also told how he doesn’t do everyday tasks like booking cabs and flights and is also not good with money.
Talking to Raj Shamani, he said, “When I was a child, I used to pray to God that everyone should know me, but I don’t want to know anyone.” This was a childish thing. I thought I loved music, so this was the only way to achieve my dreams. I’m not good at finances, and I’m generally not good at other things either.
When the singer was asked what he meant by ‘other things’, he explained, “I can’t negotiate, and people will always say to me, ‘You give up this, we’ll do that.’ I can’t negotiate these things when someone asks about them. I can’t book an Uber, and I don’t even know how to do it.I have never booked a hotel in my life. I never booked a flight. I can’t do these little everyday tasks, and I’ve never done them in my life.”
Diljit Dosanjh recently created history by becoming the first Punjabi artiste to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The singer is currently on his Heart-Luminati tour in North America and promoted his tour on The Tonight Show. She also performed her hits “GOAT” and “Born to Shine” on the talk show.
