On Sunday, Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, Assam rolled out Digi Yatra facility for its passengers and this new initiative is launched for the first time in Northeast region.
Assam Industries & Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary has launched the service for the air travel and said that, “Earlier, people needed to wait in long queues at Guwahati airport. This will be a thing of the past from now.”
In the presence of Union Civil Aviation Secretary Rajeev Bansal, Patowary launched the service and also informed that the facility is available for Akasa and IndiGo passengers and for other airlines from September it will be available.
