He highlighted cases where locals were warned against renting to Bengali-speaking Muslims, raising concerns over public safety and mobility within the state. Islam argued that these developments were urgent and required immediate attention, but Speaker Daimary suggested that the matter could be addressed later during the Motion of Thanks for the Governor’s address, which led to the rejection of the adjournment motion due to the impending vote on account presentation.
