As part of the Indian National Congress’s nationwide organizational restructuring initiative, the “Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan” campaign was launched at Congress Bhavan in Thoubal, organized by the District Congress Committee (DCC) as per the directives from the All-India Congress Committee (AICC). The event was attended by notable leaders including AICC Observer Ajoy Kumar Lalloo, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Of Ibobi Singh, and other prominent party figures.
During the program, Ajoy Kumar Lalloo emphasized that the campaign is led by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, with the primary objective of restructuring and bolstering the party’s framework nationwide to improve its organizational effectiveness. The newly appointed District Congress Committee presidents will work closely with national leadership to better address public concerns and heighten grassroots involvement.
Lalloo underscored the initiative’s importance as a transformative step for the party, aiming to enhance coordination among party members, elected officials, and local civil society organizations while promoting accountability and transparency within the party framework. He expressed optimism that these organizational measures will assist in identifying capable and responsible leaders at the district level, fostering sincere leadership dedicated to public service.
