On International Women’s Day, a new community centre with a separate toilet block was inaugurated at N Gangpijang Village in Tengnoupal District. This project, part of Operation Sadbhavana by Assam Rifles for the Financial Year 2025–26, was handed over to village authorities with the presence of local Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and community members. The inauguration, attended by around 40 participants, highlighted the significance of inclusive development initiatives that improve sanitation and social spaces, particularly for women. The community centre will serve as a hub for social gatherings, meetings, educational programs, and development activities. The separate toilet block is expected to enhance hygiene standards and promote a healthier environment in the village, fostering community interaction and collective progress.
