Commemorative stamp marks 50 years of MAGGI in India

Nestlé India marked a major milestone on Wednesday with the release of a commemorative postage stamp celebrating 50 years of MAGGI in India. The stamp was unveiled by Manish Tiwary, Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé India, along with Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, recognising the brand’s five-decade journey in Indian households.

Over the years, MAGGI has expanded beyond instant noodles to include masalas, sauces, soups and ready-to-cook products, becoming a familiar presence in homes, hostels and gatherings across the country. The commemorative stamp titled “50 Years of Togetherness” highlights the brand’s association with everyday shared food experiences across generations.

Congratulating the brand, Minister Chirag Paswan said India’s processed food sector has grown significantly over the decades and pioneering brands have played a key role in strengthening the food ecosystem. Tiwary described the milestone as a reflection of the trust and affection shown by millions of consumers nationwide. Nestlé India said it will continue focusing on strengthening its connection with consumers through products that bring convenience and shared food moments to families across the country.
