Coke Studio Bharat Season 4 unveiled, Coca-Cola bets on regional music scale-up

Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia has announced the Season 4 artist line-up of Coke Studio Bharat, reinforcing its strategy to scale regional and culturally rooted music for digital-first audiences. The new season opens with ‘The List’, featuring artists such as Rekha Bhardwaj, Aditya Rikhari, Kutle Khan, Faheem Abdullah, Arsalan Nizami, Madhur Sharma, Mohammad Faiz, Mame Khan and others.

Having reshaped India’s streaming music landscape over three seasons, the platform is now expanding its focus deeper into local narratives and traditions. Season 3 tracks like Arz Kiya Hai and Holi Aayi Re delivered strong chart performance, underlining the commercial potential of culturally anchored content.

Season 4 will span themes of devotion, memory, longing and personal storytelling, drawing from diverse traditions including Rajasthani folk, Kashmiri narratives, Banaras-rooted forms and Punjab’s Sufi lineage. Rekha Bhardwaj said the platform enables tradition to “breathe in a new context,” while Aditya Rikhari highlighted its balance of intimacy and scale. Faheem Abdullah noted the opportunity to bring Kashmiri storytelling to a national stage.

Shantanu Gangane, IMX Lead at Coca-Cola India, said the platform continues to merge folk traditions with contemporary voices, while Universal Music Group’s Devraj Sanyal emphasised building a globally resonant music ecosystem driven by authentic storytelling and active fan participation.

Kolkata remains a key growth region for Coke Studio Bharat, given its strong cultural roots in classical, folk and modern fusion music. With rising digital consumption and a receptive audience for regional storytelling, the city is expected to contribute significantly to streaming traction and audience engagement for Season 4.
