In a bid to directly address public grievances, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma conducted the second edition of the “CM Connect” programme on July 18, 2024, in Bhoirymbong, Ri-Bhoi district. This interactive forum provided residents with a platform to present their concerns directly to the Chief Minister.
The event saw a diverse range of issues being raised by the community, including challenges related to infrastructure such as roads, educational facilities, water supply, and electricity. Chief Minister Sangma reassured the public of the government’s commitment to resolving these issues, emphasizing that residents should not hesitate to file complaints if their concerns are not adequately addressed through local channels.
“We are fully committed to listening to our citizens and finding practical solutions to their problems,” Sangma stated. “I encourage everyone involved to actively participate and work together to overcome the challenges facing our community.”
