For the second consecutive day, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has dispatched naval, air, and missile units to conduct massive live-fire drills surrounding Taiwan. Code-named “Justice Mission 2025,” the exercises have disrupted global travel, with over 100,000 international passengers affected by flight cancellations and diversions. Beijing has described the maneuvers as a “stern warning” against external interference following recent US arms sales to the island. In response, Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense has activated its rapid response mechanisms, labeling China the “biggest destroyer of regional peace.”
