BSF Meghalaya seize contraband items worth over Rs 9 lakhs, one apprehended

Troops of Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya on January 5 seized various contraband items worth more than Rs 9.5 lakh including garlic, cattle, sugar and an Alto car used for carrying smuggled items and apprehended one Indian smuggler, along the India-Bangladesh border. Acting on specific intelligence, the vigilant troops of the BSF seized a huge contraband items.

The operation underscores the dedication of BSF personnel in safeguarding the border and curbing illegal activities. Their swift action prevented the smuggling of goods and ensured enhanced security of the region.
