BJP Working President Nitin Nabin Begins Two-Day Assam Tour to Review Election Preparations

Nitin Nabin, the BJP National Working President, arrived in Guwahati for a two-day visit to assess the party’s preparations for the upcoming 2026 Assembly elections. He received a warm welcome from Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, BJP state president Dilip Saikia, Union Minister Pabitra Margherita, and other officials at LGBI Airport. During his visit, Nabin will address the inaugural session of the Assam state BJP Executive meeting at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra and hold discussions with the state BJP core committee at their office in Guwahati. Chief Minister Sarma expressed confidence that Nabin’s presence would motivate party workers ahead of the elections. On the second day of his trip, Nabin is scheduled to visit the Shaktipeeth Maa Kamakhya Temple to offer prayers. This visit marks Nabin’s first trip to Assam since assuming the role of working president, with hopes from state BJP president Saikia that it will yield beneficial guidance for the party’s electoral strategies to come.
