Atharva Foundation, Mumbai has extended its philanthropic arm to the remote corners of Arunachal Pradesh, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of our unsung heroes. The foundation, renowned for its commitment to social causes, recently donated a fully-equipped ambulance, a beacon of hope for ex-servicemen, armed forces personnel, and the families of martyred soldiers in the region. This invaluable contribution, handed over during a poignant ceremony at RSB Itanagar on January 24, 2024, aims to elevate healthcare accessibility and emergency services.
Chairman and MLA Borivali, Mumbai, Shri Sunil Rane, personally handed the key to the ambulance to Air Cmde R D Musabi (Retd), Director-cum-Secretary Rajya Sainik Board, in the presence of Maj. General Jarken Gamlin (Retd) AVSM, SM, VSM, ex-servicemen, and armed forces personnel. Adding a touching dimension, laptops were graciously gifted to the daughters of martyred soldiers, reflecting Atharva Foundation’s dedication to shaping the future through education.
Shri. Sunil Rane, in discussing the initiative, emphasized the profound responsibility to ensure the well-being of those who have dedicated their lives to safeguarding the nation. This noble act is part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to the welfare of armed forces personnel, already extending ambulances to Manipur, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Assam. Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd), acknowledged the foundation’s remarkable initiatives and expressed deep gratitude.
