Assam’s government and Flybig have signed an agreement to launch intrastate flights

The Assam government on Saturday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Big Charter Private Limited (Flybig) to facilitate aviation services in the non-Udaan sector in an effort to improve intra-state air connectivity.
According to a company spokesman, daily flights will be run by Flybig between the Guwahati-Silchar-Guwahati and Guwahati-Dibrugarh-Guwahati routes.
In the presence of the chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, the agreement was signed by the managing director of Assam Tourist Development Corporation, Kumar Padma Pani Bora, and the director of Flybig, Sanjay Natavarlal Mandavia.
