Advantage Assam MoU Exchange Ceremony — a follow-up event of Advantage Assam 2.0 summit held last year will be organized at the Srimanta Sankaradeva International Auditorium, Guwahati on March 12. The event is expected to see participation of around 800 attendees. An official source said that at MoUs, PPAs and Land Allotment Letters worth Rs 1,02,945.46 crore are proposed to be exchanged during the event. Projects worth Rs 10,186.67 crore are also under consideration for confirmation of investment or formal documentation. In addition, investments involving Central PSUs worth Rs 54,669 crore and projects from Infrastructure Ministries of the Government of India (including Railways, NHAI and NHIDCL) worth Rs 63,686.40 crore form part of the investment pipeline. Overall, investment proposals amounting to Rs 2,54,386.85 crore are expected to be considered, he said.
