Assam Rifles Holds Health Camp in Tengnoupal

Essential healthcare services were delivered to the remote villages of Molphie and Chongjang in the Tengnoupal district through medical camps organized by the Assam Rifles as part of Operation Sadbhavana. This initiative aimed to provide medical support to communities in border areas with limited access to healthcare facilities. A team of doctors and medical staff conducted free medical check-ups, consultations, and distributed essential medicines, with a particular emphasis on women’s health, maternal care, and the treatment of common seasonal ailments. The medical personnel also engaged with residents to promote preventive healthcare, personal hygiene, nutrition, and the importance of regular health check-ups. The camps saw significant participation, benefiting a total of 835 villagers—385 from Molphie and 450 from Chongjang, according to a press release from IGAR(S).
