Assam Rifles biased, Meitei group accusation

Recently, representatives of Meitei community met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh asking for removal of the Assam Rifles from the violence hit state, Manipur.

As per reports, Meitei community has earlier alleged Assam Rifles for begin deployed into the state and the force has been biased towards Kuki-Zo tribes. However, the force has denied to the allegation earlier.

Along with it, the Meitei community women have also held protest against Assam Rifles removal from the state, Manipur.
