Police have successfully arrested three individuals suspected of cybercrime in Morigaon district, Assam. These individuals are accused of defrauding banks and financial institutions through the use of counterfeit documents, reportedly siphoning off large sums of money. The Morigaon Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Samiran Baishya, confirmed that the police had been actively pursuing this trio since last year, following the registration of a case at the Moirabari police station. The arrests were made during a targeted operation based on reliable information, which led police to their residences on Saturday night.
