The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has suspended spokesman Shaizuddin Ahmed due to disciplinary reasons for making remarks against a specific community on social media, as indicated by an order from Bedabrat Bora, chairman of the media department. This suspension marks the second disciplinary action taken by the APCC in two days, following a show-cause notice issued to Pankaj Saikia, the Joint Secretary, for inappropriate comments directed at former state Congress president Bhupen Kumar Borah, to which Saikia must respond within 24 hours.
