Dr. Kunal Patel, a renowned consultant orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee and shoulder injuries and sports injuries prevention spearheaded the event.
The discussion, led by Mr. Samadhan Banerjee, a prominent coach in West Bengal and attended by Honorable Minister MLA Debasish Kumar aimed to impart crucial insights to cricketers and their guardians. Stressing on prevention techniques, Dr. Patel addressed workout routines, muscle strengthening exercises, dietary considerations and vitamin supplements.
The event also discussed techniques on handling injuries, outlining the rehabilitation process and surgical procedures. Dr. Patel provided valuable guidance on reassuring and rehabilitating players to facilitate their triumphant return to the cricket field.Notably, Dr. Patel examined over 50 cricket players and their guardians during the event, offering personalized advice and fostering a proactive approach to sports well-being.
