Amazon India is expanding its Mission GraHAQ campaign to North Eastern states, aiming to educate and empower consumers about online shopping. The campaign will use radio to spread awareness in Itanagar, aiming to create a trustworthy and safe digital shopping experience for locals.
Amazon plans to broadcast interactive radio programs on All India Radio’s 29 North East radio stations in nine local languages, three times a week, to educate consumers in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura about safe online shopping and its commitment to protect consumers from bad actors. Mr. Pema Khandu, Honourable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, said “This unique approach not only ensures a wide reach but also transcends the common language barriers, offering a platform where essential consumer safety information can be accessed by all.”
Amazon launched a three-month campaign on All India Radio to educate consumers in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura about safe online shopping. The campaign, launched in 2022, reached lakhs in 100+ cities in six states and involved nearly 400 street plays in local languages to spread information about trustworthy online shopping.
