In the challenging terrains of northeast India, where trucking faces numerous hurdles, Amarnath Banik has emerged as a trailblazer, steering his logistics company to success through Amazon’s trucking partner program. With a fleet of over 200 trucks and a team of 250 drivers, Amarnath navigates the rugged landscape, delivering Amazon packages across 13 cities in the region.

Since then, his fleet has expanded, operating in three established routes covering cities such as Guwahati, Tinsukia, Shillong, and Kohima.
Amazon’s Vice President of Operations in India, Abhinav Singh, commends Amarnath’s journey, stating, “He has transformed not only his family business but also the logistics landscape for the region.” Amarnath, in turn, acknowledges the invaluable support from Amazon, crediting the partnership for enhancing his business’s growth and efficiency.Despite the daily challenges of landslides and heavy monsoon rains, Amarnath ensures the safety of his drivers through backup routes, regular health check-ups, and comprehensive accident insurance. Leveraging Amazon’s technology, he utilizes the Relay app for real-time visibility on trips and streamlined communication.
