AkzoNobel India launches ‘Dulux Maestro’ to power growth in interior design market

AkzoNobel India, the global paints and coatings major and maker of Dulux paints, has unveiled its first-ever dedicated program—‘Dulux Maestro’—to strengthen collaboration with architects and interior designers across India. The initiative aims to tap into India’s booming interior design market, projected to reach USD 81.2 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 14.3%, driven by rapid urbanization and rising demand for curated living spaces.

“Dulux Maestro is more than a product offering—it’s a business ecosystem empowering design professionals to shape the Naya Bharat,” said RohitTotla, Executive Director, AkzoNobel India. The program includes end-to-end support such as expert colour consultancy, digital visualization tools with 2,000+ shades, site sampling, training, and access to top-tier contractors. Currently live in 16 cities across six states and one Union Territory, including Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, and Bardhaman in West Bengal, the program has already onboarded over 2,000 architects and designers.

In Bardhaman, where infrastructure and residential projects are gaining momentum, local design professionals see Dulux Maestro as a timely boost. The access to global colour trends and technical resources is expected to uplift Bardhaman’s market offerings and meet growing client expectations. AkzoNobel plans to expand the program to over 40 cities by end-2025.
