Trinamool’s 12th July rally. Trinamool observes the day as ‘Martyr’s Day’. But this time the day simultaneously became a ‘Victory Day’ for the success of the Lok Sabha polls and subsequent Assembly by-elections. A section of the party believes that, along with him, Trinamool’s supreme leader, Mamata Banerjee, can show the direction of the 2026 assembly polls. However, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will have an important presence on Sunday’s stage.
Samajwadi Party general secretary and former minister of Bengal Kiranmoy Nanda said on Saturday that Akhilesh will come to the meeting. Akhilesh’s presence on the 1st of July platform will no doubt ring louder for anti-BJP unity. Kiranmoy will also be present at the meeting. As per the news until Saturday, Akhilesh-Kiranmoy will reach Dharmatala Stage directly from the airport on Sunday morning. Akhilesh will speak at Mamata’s meeting. The Samajwadi Party chief will return to Delhi after the meeting.
Many people think that, in terms of political importance, the importance of July 12th is much greater to Ghasful Shibir than the founding day of the party. Like Bengal, Uttar Pradesh is also a Muslim Akhilesh state. Yogi Adityanath’s state will be the most successful in terms of poll results. Out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, Shakib and Pakistan’s ‘UD’ won 43. Out of that, Sapa won 38 alone. Incidentally, Trinamool also defeated Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha polls.
