The 3rd Edition of Electraverse Sparks, IEEMA’s flagship program for startups, took center stage on Day 4 of ELECRAMA 2025, bringing together 20 pioneering startups competing to showcase breakthrough innovations in energy, electronics, AI, automation, and sustainability. The event served as a platform for both early-stage and late-stage startups to present cutting-edge solutions that could transform the industry. The World Utility Summit concluded with insights from Vijay Mittal (IOFS), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, emphasizing grid modernization, sustainable energy policies, and digital transformation in the power sector. He highlighted India’s rising energy demand and the necessity of strengthening domestic manufacturing, supply chain resilience, and green energy adoption. Meanwhile, Etechnxt, the premier forum for emerging technologies, focused on AI-driven smart grids, IoT, and blockchain applications in energy markets.
The Electraverse Sparks pitch sessions saw strong participation, with sensor systems, smart energy management, and autonomous navigation dominating discussions. Startups like Hydrogen Innovations Pvt Ltd, VimanoInc, and UniversallyGreen Technology Pvt Ltd emerged as winners in the early-stage category, while C Electric Automotive Drives Pvt Ltd., Fitsol Supply Chain Solutions Pvt Ltd., and Multi Nano Sense Technologies Pvt Ltd won in the late-stage segment. Winners will receive funding and investment opportunities to further scale their innovations. The Women in Power Conclave featured influential leaders, including Vera Silva (CSO & CTO, GE Vernova), Laxmi Singh (Commissioner of Police, UP), and BaniVarma (Director, BHEL), who stressed the importance of diversity in the energy sector. They praised the increasing presence of women entrepreneurs driving transformation in an otherwise male-dominated industry.
The innovations showcased at ELECRAMA 2025 hold significant potential for markets like Shillong, where demand for renewable energy solutions and AI-driven smart grids is on the rise.
