The 1st AHPI Manipur Community Health Camp, held on Sunday under the theme “Healthcare Without Borders,” successfully provided outpatient healthcare services to over 1,400 patients and conducted more than 5,000 laboratory investigations through the collaboration of AHPI Manipur member hospitals and diagnostic establishments. The event enabled beneficiaries to access diagnostic tests and imaging services at subsidized rates, and numerous patients were identified for surgical interventions based on clinical evaluations during outpatient consultations.
The substantial turnout and the effective coordination of service delivery across various specialties underscored the collective commitment of member institutions to ensure accessible, affordable, and patient-centric healthcare. This camp exemplified collaborative healthcare, delivering essential services to the community under the unified platform of AHPI Manipur.
This outreach initiative was the first of many planned programs by AHPI Manipur and served as a crucial opportunity to promote the organization’s mission as a non-profit entity focused on enhancing private healthcare delivery through collaboration, service, and social responsibility. AHPI Manipur expressed gratitude to all participating hospitals, clinicians, laboratories, and support teams whose joint efforts were vital to the success of this significant initiative, and they acknowledged the community members who participated in large numbers, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive and reachable medical outreach.
Established in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, AHPI Manipur now represents 43 private healthcare institutions throughout the state. Since its inception, the Chapter has actively worked to increase public awareness about COVID-19 and has supported government and community efforts to alleviate the pandemic’s effects. Additionally, AHPI Manipur was involved in mass vaccination drives during the COVID-19 period, successfully facilitating vaccinations for over 1,000 beneficiaries through the collaborative efforts of its member institutions.
