After a court ruling, Pakistan Rangers left Imran Khan’s home; his fans celebrated

After skirmishes between security officials and Imran Khan’s fans, a Pakistani court on Wednesday ordered the police to cease their operation outside the former prime minister’s apartment in Lahore in order to arrest him in a corruption case.
The government sent the elite Rangers to help police teams who were struggling on Tuesday to force their way through a ring of irate Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf supporters in order to arrest party chairman Khan. Khan’s home in Zaman Park in Lahore has been under siege for the past two days.
