Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd., India’s leading low-income housing finance provider, is intensifying its mission to make homeownership accessible by launching Phase III of its Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0) awareness drive in Bilaspur. From July 10 to 13, the company will organize PMAY Utsav and Spot Sanction Camps to simplify the home loan process for first-time buyers from economically weaker sections and low-income groups.
The initiative offers on-the-spot home loan sanctions upon document verification, helps applicants determine eligibility, and educates them about subsidies of up to ₹1.80 lakh. The recently revived Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) is expected to significantly lower EMIs, making housing more affordable.
In Bilaspur, where real estate prices remain relatively affordable compared to metros, the response to Aadhar’s outreach has been strong. Local families are increasingly viewing these camps as a reliable gateway to homeownership. With smaller loan sizes and faster processing, the scheme fits well with the housing aspirations of Bilaspur’s working-class residents. “Our mission is to make the dream of homeownership a reality for underserved families,” said Rishi Anand, MD & CEO of Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd. “These camps ensure that even in smaller cities, affordable housing is within reach.” Aadhar currently operates in 22 states and union territories with over 580 branches, serving nearly 3 lakh live customers.
