A free health camp was held at the Durga Bari Temple, Ledo

As part of their corporate social responsibility program, Northeastern Coalfields Coal India Ltd., Margherita, and Warriors (NGO), Tinsukia organized a free health check-up camp on Thursday. More than a hundred patients received free medical examinations and medications at the free health camp, which was hosted at the Durga Bari Temple, Ledo grounds under Margherita Co-District.

A group of physicians from NEC CIL Margherita, including Drs. Sanjib Sonowal, Manab B. Gogoi, Dibya Singh, Tul Tul K. Sangma, and Manisha Upadhyay from the Ketetong mobile unit tuberculosis screening test, performed the free health examinations. The Prime Minister’s Tuberculosis Eradication Programme included a free health check-up camp where free medications were given for diabetes, tuberculosis, and other illnesses.

More than 100 people attended a free health check-up camp held at the Ledo Durga Bari Puja Temple grounds, where various tests were performed and free medications were given out, according to Dr. Divya Singh Borthakur, a renowned ophthalmologist and NEC CIL Margherita’s medical officer. It will go on for a year, Dr. Borthakur added. With more than a hundred people taking use of the free medical services, the camp was a great success.
