Security forces in Manipur have intensified operations across the state, focusing on both hill and valley districts to bolster security and curb illicit activities. In a recent operation in Churachandpur District, security personnel seized three Pumpi and one improvised Pumpi shell, highlighting efforts to enhance area domination and security measures.
Additionally, stringent measures have been implemented to facilitate the safe movement of essential goods along key national highways. Security convoys ensured the safe passage of 170 vehicles on NH-37 and 253 vehicles on NH-2, crucial for maintaining uninterrupted supply chains.
The establishment of 124 checkpoints and Nakas across Manipur has contributed to increased vigilance, resulting in the detention of 51 individuals for various violations. These proactive steps underscore the commitment of security forces to maintain peace and security in the region.
