4 killed in taking advantage at a scrap dealership in Sopore of J&K

On Monday, four people were killed in a blast at a scrap dealership in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore.

The blast took place when they were unloading scrap from a truck that had come from Ladakh. While three people died on the spot, and one died while being taken to the hospital.

A PTI report identified the dead as Nazir Ahmad Nadroo, Aazim Ashraf Mir, Aadil Rashid Bhat, and Mohammad Azhar.

Sopore SP Divya D confirmed the incident, saying, “They were unloading the scrap when the blast took place. Unfortunately, four people died.”

The scrap dealership was situated at the Shair Colony neighborhood of Sopore, where many families run similar businesses
