An earthquake of magnitude4.7 passed 285 km East- northeast of Fayzabad, Afghanistan on Thursday, according to the National Centre for Seismology( NCS). Taking to Twitter, NCS said, “ Earthquake of Magnitude4.7, passed on09-03-2023, 070638 IST, Lat38.22 & Long73.47, Depth 107 Km, position 285 km ENE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan. ” This is the third earthquake within 8 days. history also, magnitude4.2 hit the country at 140 am. The earthquake struck at a depth of 136 km at a longitude of65.91 and latitude of34.53.
