India Yamaha Motor has introduced the 2025 edition of the MT-15 edition 2.0 in India. The entry-level streetfighter now starts at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom), with the most costly model costing Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). For the price, the company is giving new color scheme possibilities as well as tweaks to the feature list that seek to improve riding comfort. Getting onto the specifications, the 2025 MT-15 now features a TFT instrument cluster, which the firm has previously employed on the Yamaha R15. This enables capabilities such as turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth communication through the brand’s Y-Connect mobile app. The application provides passengers with information like as parking location, fuel usage, and fault notifications. All of these improvements are intended to increase the motorcycle’s attractiveness to buyers.
In terms of looks, the motorbike maintains the characteristics of the MT family. In other words, it retains the twin-headlamp design with a compact look and a powerful fuel tank. All of this is supplemented by new color schemes, such as Ice Storm and Metallic Silver Cyan. In addition, the bike will come in Metallic Black and Vivid Violet Metallic. Mechanically, the 2025 Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 is identical to its predecessor. It retains the same 155 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which generates 18 horsepower and 14 Nm of peak torque. This device is used in conjunction with a six-speed gearbox with a slip clutch. In addition, the bike now has traction control. With all of this, the motorbike competes with motorcycles such as the Honda CB Hornet 2.0 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
