16 Bangladeshi Infiltrators Detected, Pushed Back Along Assam Border

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the expulsion of 16 illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, reaffirming the state’s commitment to taking prompt measures against such infiltrators. He emphasized that Assam is proactive in securing its borders, stating, “Naysayers make NOISE. But for Assam it’s the only CHOICE. Today, Assam plays on the front foot, We don’t wait endlessly to protect our motherland, we ensure swift action,” in a post on X.
